Great looking install, WMS! I took measurements from my 500 and knew it would fit, but your pictures prove it! That engine fits in there like it's made for it. Just goes to show you how if Max and Argo put any money into their vehicles, we wouldn't be idling around in slow, suspensionless vehicles. Not even a suspension seat in a factory Max!

I see you have no mount/brace on the top of the engine, just the bottom. How much flex are you getting under heavy load? My concern was needing a strong support to keep the engine from flexing toward the trans. Also, did you build up the trans supports? I see you are in Oklahoma, any chance you can join us on a ride so we can see if that engine really improves the Max's off road abilities?

I guess now I have to get a Polaris 700 for my project....

        Brandon,
I actually do have a top brace that runs from the top R.H. of the cylinder head at an angle down toward the bottom of the radiator. I did not brace up the trans mounts, yet. Don't know if I'll claim an improved off road ability. In my experience power will get you out of trouble, but then get you right back in it only at a higher rate of speed! I'm all for a ride. It's race season for me now so very busy, but I'm game. I have to lose these 22" tires first, for ASX's? My friend caught me eyeballing his 700 Sportsman the other day, he told me to step away from the vehicle. Now that right there would be the motor boys.

I think the ASX will be a great tire. I am also waiting to see what Matt Oxender comes out with this summer. He will have a new tire ready hopefully in time for Astabula. I will be running the Aqua Torque for now. It is only good for the worst mud conditions so I'll get one of these other tires for general riding.
