I noticed my max got kinda loud and seen that the weld broke where the flex pipe going out to the muffler and manifold pipe coming off the engine meet. Is there any way of fixing this permantly? I can see that takes a lot of flex....so I'm worried it'll just snap again....any suggestions?

If yours is the stainless flex with braid over it I just installed one in a MAX II. I purchased the flex from RI and brazed it to the manifold. yours should be repaiable by removing the manifold and flex and rebrazing. I flaired the tube with a piece of 1 inch rod so it would slide over manifold a 1/4 inch or so.I think that they were butt welded at factory. not hard to grt it to go over manifold nd just braze with an acetelene toarch.
