I just purchased a brand new Max-IV from recreative industries. It has the Kohler 23hp engine, 26" super terra grip tires, roll cage, seat belts, package A, and winch.
I took delivery last week and within the first 20 minutes of use, the machine began screeching everytime I pulled the right steering handle backwards. Basically, if I'm moving forward and I attempt to turn right by pulling back on the right handle, it let's out a loud metal on metal screeching sound (similar to the sound a car's brake makes when your brake pads have worn out). It does not make this sound when I only pull back on the left handle.
I thought it would stop after a while, but even after 3-4 hours of use, it's still making this noise.
- Is this normal? (this is my first aatv)
- If yes, does it stop at some point?
- If no, is it something I can address? (with oil or lubrication)
