hey everyone, im new to 6x6's and i just traded for a 97' maxII and i need to do some work, where is the best and cheapest place to get replacement parts such as chain adjusters, throttle cables, starter solenoid, stuff like that?

First off, welcome to the forum! Those little Max II's are great machines. For the chain adjusters, throttle, and choke cables, call RI. Their info is on the dash plate. That are good people and could easily be persuaded into telling you the history of your machine if you provide them the serial number off the plate. Motor parts are usually found cheapest off eBay. Everything else post a wanted add on here in the wanted section. Members often swap parts around on the cheap, but location info is usually required for any large items that can't or won't ship easily.
