Rear chain adjusters on a max buffalo

Hi can anyone help with how to lower the rear chain adjuster. I just noticed the chain is not no the adjuster pad. I see a clip on the back side. do you pull it out or try to push both sides in and push down on the adjuster? I have been trying to push in on both sides of the spring steel clip but you need more than 2 hands for this. Is there a trick to this adjuster??

rear adjusters on the buf are the same as the MAX II. If you pry the part that has the plastic pad on it toward the chain ,you should be able to push it down. Sometomes have to work one notch at a time. the one under the clutch is a bit tough. I have at times had to stick two small screwdrivers in the top and move the tensioner pad down by hand. Practice on the easy one youll get it.

Yep it was the one under the clutch, But did as you said practiced on the easy one and then went to the hard one and got it done.
