Any good sources for MAX parts? I'm looking for throttle cable, choke cable for vangaurd, drain plug for rear of machine, and other odds and ends. Thanks.

Rc-nut, welcome to the site. Max's are currently being produced by Recrative Industries in western NY. You need only to call them with the info from your machine serial #. (I can't seem to find the ph # here, help somebody!) They can tell you lots about it and would be a great source for the items you are interested in. Avoid the aftermarket AATV community until you get more familiar with the parts your machine requires. RI's prices are very competitive.

    Joe.

Joe is absolutely right. Here's the contact info for Recreatives. They're great people to deal with. Amphibious Six-Wheel Drive All-Terrain Vehicles: MaxATVs - Call 1-800-255-2511

I got everything I needed from Richard Clark. Was fast to respond and had everything shipped within the next day. Should be here by monday. Got the engine back on and running now I need to figure out the wiring mess that was created from the previous owner. I checked the T-20 fluid and greased and lubed the machine. I cant wait!!!!

When I was looking at my options for Max IV axles, I found RR to be cheaper than RI for new axles. Didn't wind up buying new, I'm just going to make them.

Recreatives manufactures the Max AATVs, so that is the place to get parts for them. They're great people to deal with.

Yes they will because the new and old Buffalo trucks are all the same wheel base, but you'll need the wheel hub spacers and 21x11x8 Goodyear Rawhide tires.
