  • Kenda K538 Executioner ATV Tires ?

Nice looking tires for the money $125 each in size 26x12x12. Would this tire work with a Max IV ?

Atvtirestore.com typically has them for sale in a much better price.

I've run them on my 980 for a couple years and have put them through a lot of different conditions. They're absolute pigs in the water, but they do move you forward. If you plan on towing a water skiier behind your Max, forget them. If you want great traction and a solid, durable tire, I'd really recommend them. I wouldn't trade them for another tire on that machine. I bought another set for the Newt project. I bet she swims just as poorly.

Thanks for the link. They sure look like good swimming tires. Is the ride nice and smooth or is the ride rough?

The Kenda Executioner tires ride REALLY ROUGH, ( not too bad for me though because I ride at a walking pace.) but clean out really well and provide outstanding traction muddy conditions. Wear like iron ,and have outstanding bead protectors.

I agree completely. They're not HORRIBLE at 3 psi, but they are indeed a rough ride. The 980 is slow, so bumps ar early an issue, and I trend to drive like an old woman, too. I just love 'em....

Edit: I love the TIRES, not old women. For clarification.....

Driving slow at 3 psi , the ride is tolerable, and the Kenda Executioner tire is really hard to beat for the price.

Mike has done very well with his Kenda Executioners on rides. They're a great "a lot of bang for the buck" tire. And I don't love old women either, they're too dry for me.........I mean their personalities of course.
