  • My first Max II! Clutch distance

After many months of looking I picked up my first Max II. However it came without an engine. For now I am planning on putting in a duromax but I will need to make some motor mount brackets. Can someone tell me the center to center distance between the clutches so i make the plates right? I want to make sure i can use a standard belt when I'm done.

Hope to post pics soon. I also need help figuring out the year. The serial number plate is missing.

Here is some info on belt tension. ATV and Snowmobile Belts - by Dayco

If you look at your frame you will see holes where the old mount was attached.

Just put an engine in a 295, asked the same question to only hear crickets, after installing the engine with stock clutches and belt the ctoc looks to be 12.5/13 inches.
