  • Tow Behind ATV Mower

    Has anyone ever used there Max II for Trail Mowing if so what kind of tow behind mower did you use ? Interested in picking up a mower for ruff cut trail mowing.

    Seems like I saw one at Tractor Supply. Looked fairly well built. How well it would work, I haven't a clue.

      we use the **** ut of one at our archery club to keep the shooting lanes clear works like a charm

        Built my own from ground up. 14 hp Briggs, 42" cut, can be used for yard, or raised to about 14 inches for the rough stuff, I've cut 2" saplings with it. If I were to do it over I would buy the stump jumper and build it more like a bush hog instead of a finish mower. Swisher makes some, as does DR, Kunz and even Bush Hog. As with buying an AATV... research, research, research...

          Hey BC that is really a cool looking rig! I was going to build something similar with a hydraulic motor for the front of my Bobcat. Talked myself out of it as being to much trouble but you have reinspired me to give it a try.
