Is there different tension of springs for the levers on a max11? When I go into reverse, I have to really brace myself or almost slide off the seat. I would like to have some tension for forward but don't need as much as it has. My 13 year old granddaughter can hardly pull back 1 lever at a time. The only other issue I have now is about every 5 minutes it starves for fuel.May have to go to a larger fuel line, the one I have is only 1/4 inch.

take the springs off and see if it changes...fuel line is ok unless its comming apart inside, check your fuel cap to make sure its venting, then go from their, always ck the obvious first

The spring tension is adjustable. There are two eye bolts that the springs attach to. One for the left stick and one for the right. Those eye bolts stick through the front of the frame below the F-N-R shifter. If you loosen the nuts that hold the eye bolts in the frame, it will take some of the tension off the springs and make it easier to pull the laterals.

If that still isn't enough, you can typically pick up different springs at your local hardware store.
