  • Max 6x6 designer must have been really aggravated

so I bought a new chain, and 2 new adjusters for the rear of my max 2. Trying to get the bottom nuts on the adjusters is crazy. Please tell me there is a trick to this. Lol

    hi
Use a allen head bolt, head facing upwards
Washer under the head and the nut
when u place the bottom nyloc nut on the under side of adjuster/ brkt use super glue to retain into ring spanner
Use super glue on other washers etc if u feel the need
The allen head bolt allows u to use a " T " drive wrench
Tighten with wrench whilist holding spanner on nut

The front units are not too bad, r rear more complex, and you had better be a contortionist for the left rear. I frankly hope that I don't have to switch mine out again. The back aches and bruised knuckles and cut fingers took awhile to heal up.

That's for sure. They must have put those on and then put the frame in the body, and stood back and had a good laugh like it was the best joke ever. Iam gonna give the super glue a try.
