  • Getting shocked from touching key while grounding.

While the engine is running I get constant shock while grounding myself and touching key... Could this be an issue why I'm flooding out? Sucking coil power?

makes sense to me, I had a similar problem yesterday and we found a loose ground.

So I unplugged the black wire kill switch going to the coil and I'm not getting shocked anymore... But now the engines not running right and obviously can kill the engine lol.. Any ideas ?

Follow the ground wife for the ignition and make sure it has good contact. If the ground leads to a block, make sure to follow the wire all the way back to the battery.

Also if I ground the ignition switch ( just touching a ground wire to the case) it will shut off the motor..

Found the problem. On the switch the ground and "m" wires were backwards.
