I just finished installing 6" long flush mounted LED taillights on my 1999 MAX IV, look and work great, very bright. Some work involved in the installation. Cutting the holes for lights was the biggest job.

When I'm in the sand dunes, I run with them on for visibility. Everyone out there has an orange flag on a stick and runs with lights on for safety. A lot of places like Florance Oregon require the same things, so it's nice to not have running lights pulling 8 amps all the time, especially when the same output can be had with less than 2.
