So I got to thinking

While out today practicing my driving skills and getting hung up in the deep snow, I got to thinking of a better design, you know how the machines rides up onto the snow and gets stuck with the wheels spinning, Well wouldn't it be better instead of having a flat bottom with large surface area, the bottom of 6 & 8 wheelers had some kind of keel like a boat that would cut through the snow.
It would probably help in the water too.
Anyway was just thinking.

I've been watching a lot of videos and see a lot of 6x6 and 8x8's getting hung up on the middle between the tires/tracks and was wondering if just having a decent fixed air tank that you could dump air down in that area to help break away from whats hanging the machine up.Even a short blast seems like it would help enough to let the tires/tracks take it from there.

Not really practical having an onboard air compressor with a tank big enough to rapidly dump enough air to break the mud suction from under the machine but it was just a thought.
