Talked to Galen at RI and ordered a new heated throttle cable. Hope it comes today. I hope to get it running so I can see what it's like to run the machine with the lateral springs taken off. I took them off just before the throttle cable busted and haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

Galen is a great guy who is taking on many responsibilities at this time. The man bends over backwards to do everything he can to take care of the customer. He also takes orders over the phone in Buffalo and forwards them onto Matt in Indiana who ships the parts out. There are no parts in Buffalo that Galen can ship out, the entire inventory of parts is in Indiana and Matt and his employees pack them up and send them out from there. They're hopefully going to get there soon so you can try it out......driving a machine without the springs is GREAT and I wouldn't ever go back to driving with the springs again. It'll take a little getting used to, but you'll love it and you won't have sore arms after a long trail ride.

I've driven both ways, and I do prefer the springs. A lot of people do weaken them (back off the eye bolt), and I can see this as beneficial. But hey, if you like it that way, great.

I loosened the springs and even went as far as to bend the sticks to make them more ergonomic. Besides that I think it looks cool. How's that for a sissy set up lol.

I guess I'll find out how Sissy I am. If I don't like it, I may have wussy out and do the springy thingy again, like a real man!!! Haha I'll let ya know.

Still waiting! The addiction to fixing it is growing each day! Can't wait to try it with the springs off. Mudd ox called and had a question about the cable. They still didn't send it out yet today. Galen said their still trying to get organized at their facility.
