I have been searching for a source to buy replacement sprockets for splined axles. the sprockets use 520 chain but I can only find sprockets that use #50 chain. does anyone have a source to get them for 520 chain with a 2 inch center bore to weld them onto the hub? or any suggestions would be helpful. Thx

Surplus Center also has the sprockets too, yes. They've been carrying mostly Chinese brands now, I'm not too sure if they're that good or not.....I haven't really tried them yet. Buffalo Bearing can get you US made G and G Gear brand sprockets, which is what Recreatives uses for their factory Max sprockets."Looks like you have a problem with your 4 wheeler........you're missin' two wheels there"

ya I tried putting the 520 chain on my max 2 with #50 sprockets and it didn't fit like thebuggyman said the inside dimensions are smaller. I think I will give Buffalo bearing a call and see what they have. hopefully they have hardened sprockets or I will need to find a place to send them out to be treated. I used some cheap non heat treated sprockets they didn't last very long before the teeth started breaking and I had to pull the axles and replace them. it might be easier to just buy them from RI , I wonder how much the splined sprockets cost from the factory has anyone bought them lately?

When I converted my II over to #520 I turned the # 50 hardened sprockets to the correct dimensions. The hard teeth were hell on lathe bits and it may have taken the surface hardening off the sides. Have about 100 hr on it with no signs of wear. Do you need all 6 sprockets with disc brakes? I'll look up prices and pm you.

I know Motion carries the G&G line.
The gears were about $3 cheaper than RI's price. The trouble with retirement is.... I never get a day off !!!!
