check your main connector coming from engine to main harness..it will probably be burn't.
its better to just soldier it and take the connector out

Fort place to check is in the white wire at the inline fuse holder. Wfo is right about it being burnt or blown fuse. I usually cut out that fuse holder and install a marine type with a blade fuse. By filling the bottom of the battery box a small automotive battery will fit. Try to find one with bonded plates standard automotive batteries can shake the plates loose and fail prematurely.
A quick check for power at the center terminal of the voltage regulator will tell if the charging system is able to charge the battery. The 20 hp magnum has the regulator on top of the engine near intake manifold. The 20 hp command is on lower fan shroud and has three connectors for both engines. Hope you find it. Can be a pitb to have your battery going dead.

I had to change the voltage regulator on my Kohler CH20 because of the same issue.

Go and search "dual battery solution" on the max site. I upgraded to the same setup some one was running on there. ran both batteries in parallel and have absolutely no trouble running winch, lights, extra light, and spot light etc.. When my Max IV isn't in use I plug it into a trickle charge and I never have power issues. Batteries were a little pricey at $110 a piece on ebay, but in my mind well worth it to always know you have power.
Odyssey High Performance deep cycle AGM Battery - PC625 ... This is the battery I purchased 2 of and ran in parallel.
