My shift rod broke and I was wondering if I'd be successful in welding this back together (I'm really bad at welding), modify and strengthen it somehow or replace it all together.
It could be repaired for sure. Find a local welder, maybe craigslist under services? Fabbing up a new on is always an option, but repairing would be the easier and probably cheapest.
