Well the guy just left with my Max ll which I sold him, and as I watched him drive away with it in his trailer I felt a bit empty, like losing an old friend.
So thanks everyone for all the tips and advise, maybe when my broken heart heals I will buy another one.
Even without a machine, you should still hit some of the group rides. Somebody there will have an extra seat for you......Just ask Drew how well it worked for him a year ago at Bundy Hill.

Jim, I've hitch hiked more rides than many members have ever made. Buddy hill, I was just swapping parts at and Haspin, I didn't have time to service my max before it and after Busco. Those are the times I just didn't even bother bringing something. If you count the rides I went to when I first got my Attex, I would bring it and then give up on that crappy OH160 and just ride with people. I do love driving a machine around, but sometimes just getting together with some of the people I met through the hobby is just as good.
I feel for you, in a moment of weakness/insanity, I sold my silver max II. Four days later I was going through withdrawal symptoms. I found another max II, and bought it and relief! I know I can quit any time I want to, but I don't want to.
