Roll the belt off the transmission pulley( lower) to the inside. Then pass over the pulley working it past the center bolt and body. You will probably have to twist the belt to get it past the engine mount and inside part of the clutch. Do it with engine cold.
You may also have to loosen the engine mounts on the opposite side, and have a helper tilt the opposite side a bit as you do the above. This really helps when you slip the new belt on as well. I know that I struggled for a bit the first time I changed a Max4 belt, but its no big deal now.
Mudd Ox bought and took over Recreatives, they are available through Mudd Ox, Richards Relics, and you can also cross reference them and locate other belts that will work, I think JP SWIFT put the link somewhere in the forums. I've bought several belts from AMAZON and EBAY for pennies on the dollar of a new o.e.m. belt.
