anyone ever modified max 2 exhaust?

So I've been thinking about some kind of exhaust modification to my '04 max (kohler 23hp) to open her up a little. I hunt out with this machine and trail ride in the off season so i'd like an easy reversal if possible. Does anyone have experience here or any input on their results from any exhaust mods?
I'm not determined to change it but definitely curious-I just don't want to harm my baby...

I think Fmints, Cbass, and Mike have all done this. More probably have. If start by looking through their max IV galleries. Maybe one of them will chime in on their learnings.
