Hello, I was wondering which pump is best for my machine, also where is best to mount it? I always seem to do something that gets water in my tub... I don't think it has anything to do with the way I drive..... Lol.. Thanx. Norm.....

I usually just get a small manual pump at Walmart. Mount the base to a piece of L shaped aluminum and bolt that to the top lip of inner frame rail. I run the discharge hose between the rear seat and engine cover. Keeping water off the belt is most important as a wet belt won't drive the vehicle at all.

I have good luck with the whale brand pump from amazon. It's low profile and lays down in the chain trough in the right center of the tub with a bracket off the frame as mentioned before. Yes they can plug up but not too bad if you keep the tub clean. What it lacks in ground clearance it makes up for with traction.

This bracket will act as sort of a spring and keeps the pump low in the chain well.
