  • Max IV- 950T

I got a E-Mail from Max today, they have new Max IV 950. It comes with a 27 hp. Kawasaki EFI and a base price of 12,575. That's not to bad, has anyone seen one or drove one ? If so what do you think, I might check one out. Cougar

Cougar, I own one but the 950T has the 27 horse engine. The 1050T has the 29 horse fuel injected engine. All of the videos I have posted on you tube and this site were filmed from the seat of my MaxIV 950T. It's a great machine with outstanding capabilities. You can check out all my videos at:

I haven't had a chance to try out the EFI yet, but EFI in every other ATV has been the best engine improvement ever. The overall performance of the EFI Max IV is probably about the same as the 25/27hp models. EFI provides easy starts, good fuel economy (as if it wasn't good enough already?), auto adjusts for altitude, and gives instant throttle response.
