Replacement max iv axles have longer splines

hey guys I got some new axles for my 2000 max iv and the splines are a tad longer what do I need to take up the difference I was going to use two more tub seals will that work I need some ideas

Silicone caulk.

Are the splines about 1/8" longer than the original?

Yes they are about 1/8 longer

If they don't go through the bearing all the way I wouldn't bother worrying about it. I've got 4 in my IV that go into the bearing but not all the way through and I just sealed the flanges with strip caulk and never had any problems with any water coming through the axle assembly.
