So as I was sitting here looking at my Max II frame and bottom tub, I remembered something I read on here a while back.. Since mine is a 1970 model, it has the two holes in the frame at the back, which I read on here was there for an option that RI never completed. That option was working propellers. Has anyone tried making this work on the early machines? I ask because I have quite a few connections with machinists and I can pretty well draw up any kind of templates and designs necessary.. Just asking to see if there is a starting point someone can throw out here to save me a little headache on the initial design of it. Obviously, if I can end up coming up with a working version of it, I can upload pictures and all info necessary for you guys to be able to make your own. Figured if there's anywhere around that guys might know how to do this, it'd be on this great forum.

You could also fab a clamp and attach them to the back of the Max and purchase a trolling motor handle extension if necessary for about $20 bucks and pretty much steer it from the back seat. You won't need to run the Max, just let the trolling motors do the work. Just fab a cover or patch the holes in the rear of the Max.Our motto in the Strategic Air Command was "Peace is our Profession". If you don't believe it we'll bomb the hell out of you.
