  • MAX II chains

    Hi All
My financial acct say I can re build my 2000 Max II this year. I am looking for the lengths of the #50 and # 60 chain I will need. I will get my bearings from buffalo bearing's as most ppl on this site recommend. Can I get the lengths in feet and links
    thanks for the help

If your Max is a 2000, then it should have #530 chain from trans to jack-shaft and jack-shaft to center axle. #520 chain from center axle to front and rear.
The difference between the #530 and #520 is width only, the pins will still measure 5/8" apart.

The 4 axle to axle chains are 102 pins each X .625= 63.75" #520 newer machine, #50 older machine....#40 on the really old machines is unknown to me

        Jackshaft chains are 40 & 46 pins of #530 on newer machines. 40 x .625= 25" 46 x .625 = 28.75"
        Older machines: 46 pins of #50 (still 28.75") and 34 pins of #60 34 x .75 = 25.5"

Remember to multiply by the total number of chains you are replacing, and it is best to count pins before cutting the chain as it is most accurate. Use the inches to order what you need. Snowmobile Parts, Go Kart Parts, Lawnmower Parts, ATV Parts, and more | MFG Supply lets you order by the pin, and the published strength is very good......brand unknown.
