So far so good
So after 3 1/2 years these bearings been holding up so far. I was able to purge some water and old grease out until I seen the new white grease. The outer bearing is somewhat sacrificial being exposed to the elements but at least I’m able to purge it with this set up. The inner is always packed in clean grease. Most of the hours put on this machine are in the water as it it used primarily for fishing. So far so good.
