  • 6X6 plowing with disk harrow

Has any one hooked up a disk harrow to there 6X6? looking to do a food plot for Deer.

Having a "3 point hitch" built to handle a plow would take some fab work for sure. I'd think it would be easier to just get one of those tow behind model tiller units like they sell for ATV's. Lot less work and it probably would hook right up to the hitch on the back with no mods.

That plow looks to be a simple model, one that does not require a three point hitch. I don't see any reason why it should be a problem for any aatv to pull. Give it a try and happy hunting

Should pull the single/narrow disk fine, may want to beef the hitch for safety sake. Adjust the cut angle from straight a little at a time as a test. A 4 foot double gang disk would probably do significant carnage.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
                    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

Yes I'm going to weld a platform on top to hold some bricks for additional weight and also put a hitch on it to fit a number two ball.

That disc will require at least 100 lbs of added weight to get some depth to work the soil. More is better!

I agree, but think that the drivetrain of a utv would hold up better to domestic chores.
