    Hi All
    joined this forum in 2008.
and only just found the mortal remains of a max1v i could afford to buy,
just posted pics in my album. kawasaki engine, tub number 67**
I know I missed another on ebay a couple of years back.
So I know there were 2 in Great Britain.

That's a heck of a wait to get your first 6x6. I hope you can source all of the parts that you need to get it up and running.

I wonder if someone replaced the frame rails and just never finished assembling it?

              two steps forward

              quick update on this project.
looks like it might have been stationary a while

so most of this time has been just finding out what is steel and what is rust.
I was a bit surprised about how heavy everything is,the roll cage had a dent in it and was made from scaffold poles. I scrapped that and will start again took three people just to load comfortably into truck.Since i might have to make a glassfibre inner tub, I have started shaving weight off starting with tidying up brackets and control levers which were left over long.
also painted a few things just to stop the rot. including the engine platform although I probably wont use the kawasaki 440 that i got with it in the long term .it would be a bit loud for my purposes

thanks to all the members who have been patiently answering my questions.
              plodding onwards !
