  • Max II Help please

    Hi Guys
I have a problem with one on my max II 2001 model, drives forward ok, but when I try to reverse only one side has full power🤔🤔 any help would be great.

Open the body and make sure the diamond shifters are against the case in the rear position. If they are full back pull the shifter out on the bad side and inspect the pin and groove it runs in. Sounds like a broken shift collar if it still shifts into forward ok.

Thanks for reply , found the problem, seems the spit pin had come out, put it back in with new pin.
How do you adjust when you put in reverse and pull back on sticks, seems like one side drives better than the other, does any one have a video on how to adjust the t20?

            Hi Guys
Just looked on the net and a guy uses yellow distance tools, what are these for? Can you not adjust the t20 without them? Does anyone know of a video on how to adjust the t20? ( sorry I show of done better at school!) also then I pull stick and then back I find the shaft were it goes into the t20 sticks then pops back out! Anyone know what causes this?
            Thanks Richie

richie, punch in 6x6 borg warner t 20 trans setup. directions for adjusting should come up. i bought those distance tools for adjusting, but did better without them. just follow the steps. also my sticks have popped alot. i think i read on here it's not any problem. good luck. j.b.
