  • Drifting to the left

Ok I am new to max II just purchased it last night. Everything is fine with it except it slightly drifts to the left with the sticks in neutral position having to pull the right stick to straighten it out. I'm sure one of you fine gentlemen can help me figure this out

    Thanks

Hi Tdog, start by measuring the circumference of your tires, not the air pressure in them, and set them all to an equal circumference using air pressure. Use a string or soft, tailors tape measure. Then, make sure you have both sticks pushed forward, not just in the neutral position. Sometimes, if you still have the springs on your laterals that keep them pressed forward, they aren't quite strong enough to fully engage the transmission. Pushing forward on the sticks will fully engage it.

Thank for the quick reply Mike. Will check that out in the morning. Will have to see what laterals are first lol. Told you I was new to this though I a mechanically inclined and have the manuals.

Laterals is just another name for your sticks. Good luck solving your issues!

The laterals are the control levers. (I had to ask this a few years ago, too).
I recommend greasing all axel bearings, and lube all the chains.
Marine grease is used a lot (it's what I use), although other brands are recommended as well.

I use NAPA white dry lithium grease from a spray can to lube all the chains. Other chain lubes are used as well.
Check the chain tensions as well. Enjoy your ride
