RIM questions

Hey guys, sold my RIM about a year ago and bought it back last weekend. The guy did a lot of work to it. I put a 440 in it then the guy I sold it to put a predator 420cc engine on it with some kind of snowmobile clutch. When I put it in drive I gotta pull the sticks back to engage the brakes or it will die, and when I go to put it in reverse it either grinds or kills the motor. On top of that, the motor wants to die or looses power when I turn or climb hills. Can someone help me figure this out? Thanks!!

Sounds like belt way to tight or primary clutch staying engaged.
