    Max iv problem

    I got the engine mounted on just now, it runs great. I put it in gear and started to creep forward, noticed the chains were loose, then noticed it will not turn left. It also will not go into reverse. Any suggestions of what to do?

    check you linkages and check you shift ears on the side of the tranne . sometime they get out of sink . . robbie

      Check to see that the shifting diamonds are pointed all the way forward. They should be forward to go forward, backward to go backward...etc. They are actuated by the gear shifter between the driver's legs. If one is not all the way forward, the machine will act in the manner you've described.
