I just read the Max Owners Manual and I'm too scared to drive the thing!

    I just read the Max Owners Manual and I'm too scared to drive the thing!

    I ordered a document pack for my "new" used Max II. The first 53 pages of the Owners Manual are safety warnings!!!!!!! Finally in the last half it gets to some general information on maintaining the machine.

    Seriously, they should have titled this thing "The 3 Do's and 100,000 Don'ts of owning a Max ATV". I wonder if the unique style of this manual is a result of 4 decades of lawsuits?

    I agree,car owners manuals are the same,then they chastise us for not reading them. My Max manual favourite is....WHEN BACKING
    up,SLOW DOWN AS YOU APPROACH A TURN !

      Is this why they don't come with drink holders??

            listen guys all that leagel mumbo- jumbo is there so people wont sue them...... its all common sense to 98% of us but its that 2% that will do something stupid and try to sue .... its all abought c.y.a. (cover your ass)

              A CUP HOLDER! Thats a great idea! I've been holding my hot coffee between my legs as I bounce around the trails!
