Silly question

What is the best way to drain the oil without filling the body tub? Funnel with a tube through the drain hole? Pump of some sort?

My first choice is to suck it out through the dip stick tube, then put down a rag and remove the oil filter. In days past I used the same machine to drain the Max's T20. I was never too adept at the plastic bag trick.

My Max IV has a Kohler 25 in it. The drain plug is at the back of the engine. I run a hose from the spigget to the right side drain hole, where I have a can sitting on the ground.
