Max II hitch

when I put the outer portion of my hitch on is the rubber gasket enough to stop water or should I ad strip caulk?

ATV sealer works well as it seals around the bolts as well as the plate.

Sorry. I would use the Rite Stuff. It is Black and seals real well to plastic !

OEM Rubber gasket that came with my MAX hitch seems to do just fine.
