  • Led light bars

I have my buffalo up and running.it still will not idle so I will be rebuilding the carb after deer season. The head lights are kind of poor so I was thinking of installing an led light bar. I am interested to see if anyone has done this and how they mounted them. I was thinking of mounting to the wench mount, roll bar, or drilling into the upper body. Just trying to figure out the best mount and size of the bar.

    Thanks

I'm putting these in place of the stock lights on mine. They won't fit into the grommet holes, but are the same size so I'm planning on just mounting them right in front of the holes and making a solid filler. They are spot lights, but I'm pairing them with a 22" mixed spot/flood on my roll bar. I figured once I put the light bar on I wouldn't see the stock lights anyway.

I didn't go LED, but for $8 a piece harbor freight sells these dudes...
I took out my heated throttle cable and used the existing switch for their power, they have been on awhile and have been quite woods tested.

I have a 12" LED spot/flood combo on my Max IV, it's 7200 Lumens. I was originally going to go with a 22" or 30" but now that this is one is on I couldn't imagine needing more light. Throwing the switch is like turning daytime on lol. I don't have any very good pics of it but all I did was build a small bracket to mount it above my winch, you can kinda see it in this pic.

I put a 18" spot/flood lightbar on the front and replaced the stock headlights with flood led lights. I absolutely love the combo. Without the lightbar the others are extremely bright and light the trails.
