Hello All, this aatv is very new to me. Bought a 2001 Max IV 800-T yesterday. To big for my utility trailer and need to go shopping asap. I would like to set a trailer up for ice fishing and will be adding a track system to my Max IV. My machine has 26" tires and per Matt at Mud-ox which is only 1/2 hr. from me saying I need to install 21" tires for the track to work. What width of trailer do I need, going with an enclosed trailer. Any help is deeply appreciated. Thanks

6x10 minimum for an open trailer I'd go at least 7x12 enclosed, strapping would suck and require a side door unless you want to climb over the machine, 8x16 or 18 if you plan any storing any extras and moving around in the trailer.
With the way trailers are priced sometimes larger pays for itself in per foot cost. Shop around.sigpic
My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
Joe Camel never does that.
Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

Yup I think larger does pay for itself. I have an 8x16 Titan trailer but with tracks on my Argo there is only inches left over on each side between the tracks and the fender wells. It has been just about the right size to hold a little generator or gas cans etc. with the machine.Originally posted by ARGOJIM View Post6x10 minimum for an open trailer I'd go at least 7x12 enclosed, strapping would suck and require a side door unless you want to climb over the machine, 8x16 or 18 if you plan any storing any extras and moving around in the trailer.
