Inherited a Northway Explorer - not sure of the year. I think the Explorer is a Max II - anyone confirm? Also, would like to find an owners manual for the machine but haven't had any success. Any help? Thanks.

Yes, you are correct. According to Jeff, the Northway Explorer was a green bodied Max II sold by Recreative Industries to the Northway Explorer Snowmobile Corporation out of Canada. R.I. shipped the parts to them where they were assembled and they received the Northway badging. There are a couple of pictures of one in the gallery.
As for a manual you can contact Recreative Industries directly and purchase one through them if you would like. Post up some pictures if you have any. -
