    What did you do with your Max today?

    I got my MaxIV 2 weeks ago I drive truck so had to go to work for 2 weeks. Got home today and decided to go swimming in the pond. Got the Max out of the barn and went for a dip I the pond. As I looked at the owners manual and other pics of Amphibious ATV's I found that my bar tires are on backwards. It don't swim very well when the v is facing the wrong way. So going to change that and go for another swim.
    I couldn't get the wife to go swimming she was affraid it would sink.I'll have her take a couple pics and get them posted asap.

    Cool. I need to get back in my rig....it's been two weeks now sine the last ride.

      My wife is afraid too. I dont get it. If it did sink the pond I drive in is only like 6" at most deeper then I float. Still scares the crap out of her.

        It's just stopping raining here and tomorrow, a friend of mine is bringing his Max IV over and were taking it and my attex into the swamp/pond behind my house, as the water level will be nice and high tomorrow. It's going to be his test run as he just finished a Months-long total rebuild today. Maybe we'll get some pics and videos.

          just got my trans back together last night was clearing trails for next weekends ride all day maby tommrow ill have my max back together it will be the first time since ledges ill have it out!!!!
          they dont call me mad because im angry!!!!! im just a little crazy thats all!!!!

            In true american fashion today. I figured if a little is good alot must be better.
            As I looked at the tires on my Max they were on wrong. This is what they looked like.
            were like: front <<< rear
            Supposed to be : front >>> rear

            The last time I went swimming the Max did great in reverse and lousey forward so I did some thinking and decided to swap the tires to look like this
            front >>< rear It works great. I have 2 axles pulling through the water forward and if I need to back up I have the rear tires pulling back. This is a great improvement.

            I have a swampy area on my property and today after the tire swap I went swimming then into the swamp. Awesome the Max preformed flawlessly.
