  • Max IV Number of links

    HI All

Anyone out there that can give me the number of "links" in the front and rear chains of the MAX IV ( i know i could count them but i am 300 miles away from my machine) ?

    Many Thanks

Front 116 pins. Rear 112 pins. Primaries 52 pins
What it lacks in ground clearance it makes up for with traction.

I think tbone accidentally misprinted the lengths.
      52, 116 and 122 (not 112) links.

        I stand corrected. Good catch.

That happened to me a few years ago, and I had to add links to the 112 to make it 122.

I count but still lay out the chains together to double check.

Be aware that a seriously stretched chain will be longer. One might assume wrongly the link count would be off and think they have the wrong amount of links.
              Counting links is most accurate.
