I broke a rear axle on my Big Max (believe it is a 77 ) It looked like the the hollow axle rode on a pin sticking out of the frame .I think the pin is welded to the frame as I couldn't turn it. That pin is also bent. My thought was to cut the pin off and change to the inner bearing setup. Does that sound like the way to go? Or is that pin still needed even with the inner bearing? Thanks for any advice in advance.
