  • Are these tracks any good?

Got these tracks with the Max IV I just bought, are they good for normal use or just snow?

Sorry I had a pic posted an photobucket is such a crappy hosting sight I kept getting errors.

My tracks are the older factory ones with the wide rubber cross pieces and L shaped angled metal pieces every foot or so.

I have the same tracks as you do, for snow, they work very well. Thick mud not so well. Water use- forget it.

smurf.. i never tried those tracks but always thought they would work well. for snow they should be pretty good with the rubber pads to give you extra floatation. may do well in some mud also... let us know after a snow !! johnboy va.

I agree with Johnboy, they look great for snow and probably pretty good for mud!

I have a similar set for a Max2. They work fine in snow, so so in mud, and like a sinking boat in water. My advise is to never take them in water unless you have a high capacity bilge pump or two mounted in the machine.
