Ok one more time i have 2010.max got older briggs motor to put in it has 3 wire red wire charge battery black headlights green kill my problem.the max harness coming from front the ignition to solenoid is all good the other harness has one connector with white black yellow wires and then one green wire one red wire and few inches below a short black.wire have no idea how to wire it to motor anybody.

Post your serial number, previous engine and post a picture of what you have, 2 of the wires ( the short ones?) are probably for heated throttle cable, single black is probably shut down.
Green is generally universally the start wire.sigpic

Ok my problem is everything is wired just dont no colours of wires not good at reading wiring really i looked at ignition switch im looking for magneto it looks to be the yellow one but worried if it isnnt from there i just need lights witch i can figure out solienod already wired so the other harness basically i have yellow white black red and green then lower to blacks on a o ring i assume ther grounds

I have heated throttle cable figured out there was male female connectors already there the old engine was 20 something maybe 23 kolher the schematics i suck at really were i go in ignition if i get the magneto at least ill b running just wondering if anyone nows the wiring colour codes

I was wrong on the harness usage, there is a kohler harness shown.
At your 3 wire plug, yellow feeds the fuel solenoid and or pump if equipped, the white goes to regulator red wire, the black goes to kill (the post on the side of a vanguard).
Get it running and shutting down and go from there, if your engine has no fuel solenoid disregard the yellow wire, engine should run with no wires hooked up without a solenoid but needs black wire to shut down.
Looking at the 5-7 wire switch conversion should give you an idea.sigpic

That's great, sorry forgot to say some Briggs need external solenoid as many engines today come with solenoid on the starter.sigpic
