      Duh, that makes sense now with the rain. Mine stays in the garage but regardless that is a good point. May take it out hang it up let gravity do its thing. @johnboy whats the site for that? Thanks for the info on not mixing throttle cables.

            I did that but the vendor I am finding has one that is 6', dunno if the ends will work?

              the one they sell called '' dryglide main throttle cable '' ( $ 24.00 )) you can get with one end that has a ball.. this would be the throttle handle end and the other end you can get a adjustable barrell for briggs,kholer, etc. on my 21 h.p. briggs vanguard i don't need anything on the carb end of the cable. it just hooks to the carb linkage thru a hole and tighten a set screw. the adjustment barrell is on my max 2 throttle handle. hope this helps, what is your motor ? johnboy va.
