  • Max IV track rails

Anyone know where I can find a set of track rails for my max IV? Or have a drawing that I could get a set fabricated? Also can you run the track rails and plow rails at the same time ?

Contacting member delduck should get you the main rail measurement at least, the rest is attainable from your machine. However it does not sound as if you have bearing extensions on your machine now as the plow mounts are built into the front bearing extensions.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

Hey Jim wanted to say high and hope all is well. Dgroff sent me a message and hopefully he is on the right track. So far so good with the max 4 but still haven’t tracked the max 2. I’m doing a project in southern jersey now that it looks like DU is going to get involved in. Anyway I wanted to say hi and hope all is well, I’ll get you some pics of a machine I’m building out of a bobcat frame.

Hey Del, hope the machine relaxes for a while for you.

I just took a look at the machine, maybe I do have the bearing extensions. Just not the track rail.

They are the extensions. I rode mine like that for a while then after replacing 3 axles 2chains and some linkages, I’ve finally put on the straps. Another trick that I was thought on this forum is TAKE OFF the front chains. And no it does not make a difference on driving but it shure does make a difference on the chain binding.
