Not sure if you found a gas cap yet but if your not concerned about a factory cap, I just put a gas cap off a honda 11hp single that the gas tank is mounted to the engine, my gas cap for my 1970 max was rough looking and wasn't sealing to good, I had the 11hp I took out of my max and happened to notice the gas cap was same as for the way it screwed on, it fit perfectly and looks good as well..Comment

jacks small engines .com sells bunches of different gas caps. check them out ....may have what you need if nothing else turns up . j.b.Comment
