Update.... we broke the right side primary chain climbing up a large hill trail, right near the top. We winched up the last ten feet up.
The chain wrapped itself around the sprocket, and jammed between it and the tub. We walked home.
Four days later we returned. My nephew got the chain replaced (I was unable to do it myself).
The ticking stopped!
