Question on Max IV Flotation

Hello all,

I'm new to 6X6's but I am planning on purchasing my first one today after work. Just had a random thought, and figured I'd ask the question.

A lot has been written and said about these types of vehicles abilities to float, but I'm curious to what capacity should they be used, i.e. exactly how stable in the water are they really.

Are they something you could go out and plan on spending an afternoon on the water fishing, or is it more intended just to cross bodies of water and get back and dry land as soon as possible?

If you have it fully loaded, is it a tipping hazard?
