If you plan on running lights and a winch you may wanna get a belt pulley from Vegas carts and mount an alternator because the predator only has like a 6 or 7 amp charging system. I’ve been running an altenator without issue.
    Good luck with your project.

I have a 1995 Max II with the 14hp Vanguard. I am thinking about upgrading to the Predator 22hp as well. Post some pics/details/modifications of what you had to do during the swap if you don't mind. Thanks, Jay

It was super easy, takes a weekend if you want to strip it all out and clean it like I did, also rewired everything and installed a pump

Looks good. My current factory setup has the muffler mounted outside the body. I thought about ways to tie in the factory exhaust to a Predator. I bet 22 hp moves the Max II right along.

I had a lot of issues with my 14 vanguard running right. Little pipe fabrication and it fits right into the factory exhaust
